Ticking Clocks

Doris Lessing's word struck a chord with her idea that we are only at the beginning of understanding the universe) and everything in it), as a ‘web of interlocking clocks all differently set’, she explains it is an understanding that is not intellectual but woven into experience.

The body is a site of interwoven clocks and it is with and by which we experience the ticking of our existence. Emotional, physiological and mental clocks define our experience and by the signification of meaning we create our realities.

Skillful Living's thought leadership lies in viewing somatic body intelligences as a powerful means to create mind body integration.

This integration allows innovation to be a way of being; a way of perceiving which culminates in the ability to synthesize existing knowledge with new knowledge potentially across multiple disciplines to offer novel, unique, different view points and alternative insights.

The Potential: contribute, enlarge, deepen, flip, create, something that yet does not exist. It contains emergent properties as alchemists something more may arise than was possible by the sum of the parts alone.

From a performance improvisation perspective I call it the fourth thing in the room. It is leading from possibilities derived from rich, deep thought and interaction.

One can work with existing markets and they are your ingredients and then you can create new markets; as Henry Ford said if you asked the people what they wanted they would have said a faster horse.

You need deep smarts to work with what is, illusions do not create sustainable businesses, yet vision is essential as the world is not sedentary, entropy has a nasty habit of showing up.

Thought Leaders, savvy entrepreneurs, dynamic speakers, aspirational leaders, innovative business’s and performing artists; play, try out, ask what if, they ask what's next, they are deeply curious, engaged, interactive creatures. My key principle is who said, why is it this way, how does that work, what if?

Virtuosity is living to your full capacity and becoming what you can imagine:

You see things and you say 'why,' but I dream things that never were and I say 'why not.'

-George Bernard Shaw
